 Set within the idyllic beauty of Maltese countryside, and overlooking the rugged landscape of an unspoilt valley, Montekristo Estates incorporate picturesque vineyards, the charming Montekristo Winery, and a number of indoor and outdoor exclusive venues covering an area of over 6,000m2. Most venues are fully equipped with lights, sound and catering facilities for added value and better service. Individual entrances for each venue give flexibility and privacy. Wine Vaults At the end of a 15-meter long majestic tunnel leading down into the bowels of the earth and flanked by exquisite, classical marble statues, is the impressive vastness of The Montekristo Wine Vaults. The Vaults are actually made up of four wide halls separated by sumptuous arches, under a canopy of crafted mahogany ceilings, reflected on translucent marble flooring. Wrought iron chandeliers provide the main lighting, while hidden sources of lights create a magical atmosphere. Mysterious tunnels, hewn out of the living rock, fan out on three sides. One of these tunnels, Calypso's Lair can easily be the exotic setting for large events, while the others are intimate and suggestive alcoves, ideal for relatively small groups. With a capacity for 2,500 guests, the Vaults can accommodate very large events and banquets and are considered as the primary venue at Montekristo Estates, hosting various events and activities, mainly receptions and gala dinners. This venue is also equipped with a separate satellite kitchen.

Renaissance Revolving around a charming central pavilion and supported by five classical columns, The Renaissance is a marvellous, all-marble jewel box, decorated with exquisite mosaic reproductions of renaissance paintings by Giorgione, Caravaggio and other great masters. Designed to accommodate some 500 seated guests and over 2,500 standing, this venue is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art light and sound systems, and together with an elevated DJ booth, can easily be adapted into a unique club ambience. The Renaissance has its own separate entrance, but can also be accessed from the Wine Vaults through Calypso's Lair. The blending of these three venues create a uniquely mythical setting, with unending possibilities for very large events and after-dinner parties for large groups.
The Arena Built to house the staging of the Live Dinner Show Malta Nights Extravaganza and other productions by MK Leisure, The Arena is a definite first choice as an original and unique venue. It is equipped with wide-ranging theatrical light and sound systems that can be used to create unusual and suggestive effects. The Arena boasts of an impressive backdrop of 16th century fortifications, built by master masons in real stone. With a maximum capacity of 500+ sitting patrons, it is served by its own catering facilities. All this makes The Arena an ideal and original venue for symposia, conferences, product launches and other imaginative events.
The Alcoves
Les Ecuries This venue is similar in style and size to the Alcoves and used regularly every Thursdays as a supporting area to the Arena during the weekly Show. It is also available for private functions similar to the Alcoves.
Misrah Dielja Nestled by the old, rugged walls of The Winery, guarded by magnificent marble columns on three sides, and a vast expanse of vineyards on the other, this central Piazza warmly welcomes all those who visit Montekristo Estates with an aura of timeless serenity. Adorned with cobbled flooring and decorative trees, it is the perfect location for a variety of outdoor events, concerts, banquets and fairs, both by day and by night.
Roof Garden Overlooking Misrah Dielja, and with breathtaking countryside views as a backdrop, The Roof Garden is a blooming paradise in a sea of tranquillity. It is also very popular with intimate Wedding Receptions.
Vjal Palazz A majestic, cobbled, wide passageway leading to the Palazzo and cutting through blankets of vines surrounding the estates. This (Maltese) ‘Appian Way’ grandly welcomes patrons to the Estates and is also a perfect (a)venue for major ‘al fresco’ banquets, fashion shows and other events. Vjal Palazz is presently the largest outdoor area at Montekristo.
The Wine Bar
The Foyer Bright and luxurious, the Foyer also offers plenty of opportunity and flexibility as a venue for moderately-sized activities. It has its own entrance and is finished to the highest specifications with marble flooring, historical paintings and two large bar counters. It is regularly used for small private functions and also doubles-up as a support site to the Roof Garden.
